Reformation

Overview

Reformation is committed to sustainable practices, every Reformation product is designed, made, photographed and shipped from their innovative eco-facility in downtown Los Angeles. Their mission is to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. Their vision is for an industry where human rights and sustainability are not the effect of a particular initiative, but the cause of a business well run. Where social and environmental injustices are not unfortunate outcomes, but reasons to do things differently. Where excuses are ignored and action is taken. And each style is made using repurposed vintage clothing, salvaged deadstock fabric or new sustainable materials.

Challenge

Their current logo doesn’t represent who they are or what they stand for. Go through the complete process of a professional rebranding project from the perspective of a designer starting from researching and gathering insights in order to identify visual, verbal/sound, and sensory opportunities for the brand. Create and implement a brand identity engagement and activation campaign that builds brand awareness across multiple communication channels from traditional (print), digital and social media while focusing on the user and brand experience.

Solution

A brandmark that symbolizes our desire to reform the negative and be one with the positive. Along with a complete style guide and brand guidelines.

Brandmark Logo

Our brandmark is a symbol of our desire to reform the negative and be one with the positive. It encompasses both our name and two powerful symbols; an arrow, signifying change and a circle, representing our bond with the earth and everyone on it.
